Magazine Design

As the designer for Wyoming Seminary’s alumni magazine, The Journal, my goal was to create layouts that not only highlighted the school’s legacy but also strengthened connections within the alumni community. The two issues below were designed for special events for the school community.

175th Anniversary Issue
For this milestone issue, we honored the school’s 175 years of history. The design integrated archival photos and impactful typography to reflect the school’s storied past while maintaining a contemporary feel. The issue featured alumni stories, notable milestones, and a timeline of significant events. My goal was to balance tradition with innovation, producing a magazine that alumni could look back on as a commemorative keepsake that also looked to the future.

New Head of School Issue
This issue introduced the community to the new Head of School. The layout emphasized the personal message from the Head of School while also showcasing the broader vision for the school’s future. This issue was crafted to build trust and engagement, communicating the school’s commitment to growth and leadership.
